New Delhi: In Ghaziabad’s Shalimar Garden police station, a report has been lodged against a YouTube channel for disseminating false information about the death of Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. The complaint was brought to light by a local resident who expressed outrage over the misleading news spread by the channel, which has since caused significant distress among Singh’s supporters. On Saturday, local councilors Ravi Bhati, Rajesh Singh Munna, and Kalicharan Pehalwan visited the Shalimar Garden police station to address the issue. Rajesh Singh, one of the complainants, reported that a video falsely claiming the death of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was broadcasted by a YouTube channel named Tej Khabar News Live TV. The video was fabricated and manipulated to mislead viewers, causing hurt and anger among Singh’s supporters. Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Siddharth Gautam from the Shalimar Garden police station confirmed that a case has been registered following the complaint. The initial investigation has revealed that the false news was created by altering a video from another well-known news source.
