Adam Voges taking himself off from International level

Adam Voges, Australian batsman is signing off from International level. Before visiting Sri Lanka in Canberra, the player said it would be the last time he is playing against an international team.

Voges said "This will be it for me. I’m certainly looking forward to getting out there and playing this game. I’ve had an amazing couple of years with Australia with the Test team and I’ve loved every minute of it. I see this as a last opportunity to play against an international team and I’m certainly looking forward to that."

The right-handed batsman last played was the Sheffield Shield match counterparts Tasmania in November 2016. The Australian player has played 20 Tests for Australia.

Currently, Sri Lankans are in Australia to have a cup tie in 3 T20Is.
