Review : Azhar is not good as the audience expected

 'Azhar' U/A

Biopic Director: Tony D'Souza

Cast: Emraan Hashmi, Nargis Fakhri, Prachi Desai

It sad to know that what you expected from  the trailer is not what you get in 3 and half hours.go only if you are a huge fan of Imraan Hashmi, his acting no doubt is fantastic.

The picture focuses on cricketer Azharuddin's journey and struggle after the ban till eight years later he was given the clean chit, due to lack of evidence. If his alleged involvement in the scandal hugely disappointed his fans, this movie is only going to disappoint them further.

The second half courtroom drama in the is even worse than the first half of the movie with Lara Dutta as a prosecutor lawyer screeching her way till the end with Rajat Arora's bordering on nonsense rhyming dialogues and, of course, a feeble attempt at trying to attribute Azhar's deed to patriotism.
