Maverick Ram Gopal Varma who initially announced March 22nd as the release date of his new movie Lakshmi's NTR has finally made his mind for a new release date. Lakshmi's NTR' has a new release date. The political thriller will hit the screens on March 29. It seems Ram Gopal Varma has changed the date in view of the uncertainty over the pending censor formalities.

Ram Gopal Varma released the poster for the same on Twitter and started promoting the same. NH Studioz is the distribution house that is releasing the film in the Telugu states. Weekend Cinemas is releasing the film in the USA. Earlier this week, there was confusion over what the CBFC wants to do with the controversial film. RGV alleged that the Censor Board was acting under pressure not to certify the film. He then changed the tune by saying that there was miscommunication.
As of now, there is no clarity on the censor formalities of the film but the makers announced that Lakshmi's NTR will hit the screens on 29th of this month in a grand manner. There is still a sense of uncertainty in the air over the film's release. But if it manages to secure March 29 for itself, then it's going to give Niharika Konidela's 'Suryakantham' and Nikhil's 'Arjun Suravaram' some tough time. The film is based on NTR life since the entry of Lakshmi Parvathi in his life.
