Rijiju meets representatives of sports goods and equipment manufacturers with eye on strengthening sports ecosystem. In an effort to improve the coordination between the government and sports manufacturers in India, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday met with the representatives of sports goods and equipment manufacturers. In the meeting, the Union Minister discussed in detail ways to improve the coordination between the government and sports manufacturers in the country so that more strength can be provided to the sports ecosystem of India. over 30 representatives of sports manufacturing companies who are members of four major trade bodies in India -- The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industries in India (ASSOCHAM) & Confederation of Sports and Recreational Industries (CSRI) attended the meeting. Senior officials of the Sports Ministry, including Sports Secretary Ravi Mital also attended the meeting.
