From Rahul Gandhi to Priyanka Chopra, Bollywood is mourning Rishi Kapoor's demise

The film industry has received another major setback for the second consecutive day. The grief of Irfan Khan's departure on Wednesday was not over yet that today, on Thursday, another veteran had said goodbye. Rishi Kapoor took his last breath in a hospital in Mumbai on Thursday. Many Bollywood celebrities, including many big personalities, are paying tribute to him. Recently, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also expressed grief over the demise of Rishi Kapoor.

 

He tweeted, "This is a terrible week for Indian cinema, with the passing of another legend, actor Rishi Kapoor. A wonderful actor, with a huge fan following across generations, he will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family, friends & fans all over the world, at this time of grief.”

Prakash Javadekar, the information broadcasting minister of the country, also expressed grief over Rishi Kapoor's departure. He wrote that "Rishi Kapoor's sudden departure is quite surprising. He was a brilliant actor as well as a brilliant human being. Condolences to his family.
