Rita Bhaduri, the veteran actor of television who contributed to well famous series like Kumkum, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and the latest being Nimki Mukhiya has departed for her journey beyond earlier on the day due to her kidney ailments. Her funeral held at Andheri East, Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon. Juhi Parmar was the one who spent a lot of time with the demised actress during their shoot fro Kumkum. She shared the screen with Juhi as Dadi in the show. When Pinkvilla reached to the Kumkum lead role, she stated that she had never thought that such a thing will happen and said: “I was not in the state after hearing the news." She also reported that she was oblivious to the news of her ill health. She said: “Actually, the past couple of days, she wasn't well and unfortunately we did not know about it. We just got to know last evening, we as in the whole Kumkum family I am talking about. We got to know about her being in the hospital. I was not in town and I am still not in town. I thought I will come back and the first thing I will do is go and see her. I was so not prepared for the news this morning” Juhi also elaborated on her nature and care as: “I will remember several things about her; used to call her Rita Ma. She was full of love and used to get food for the whole unit. She has pampered me a lot. I will never be able to forget Rita Ma and will never be able to come to terms that she is not there.” She also claimed that the show will be her favorite as due to that only she got an opportunity to know Rita Bhaduri: “For me, Kumkum will be my all-time favorite because I got to know her from the show. We became so close and she loved me so much. She used to get food for me so that I don't worry about eating after pack-up” Today Indian television lost not only a reel life mother but a real-life mother too.
