Ayodhya: A statue of Lord Shri Ram's child form and a statue of Mother Sita will be made from two huge 60 million-year-old Shaligram stones extracted from the Kali Gandaki river in Nepal. The statue of Ramlala will be of 5 to 5.5 feet child form. The height of the statue is determined in such a way that on the day of Ram Navami, the rays of the sun fall directly on the head of Ramlala. These stones have left Nepal for the Shri Ram temple being built in Ayodhya. Wherever these stones are coming out, there is a crowd of people to touch them, to see them. During this time, the roads are buzzing with slogans of Jai Shri Ram and Jai Jai Siya Ram. On January 26, 2023, Shila was worshiped at the Galeshwar Mahadev temple. These stones have been placed on two trucks and left for Ayodhya on Monday (January 30). They will enter Uttar Pradesh from Nepal via Bihar on January 31, 2023, via Gopalganj and from there they will reach Gorakhpur via Jagdishpur via Kushinagar by 4 pm. Before these stones reach Gorakhpur, there is tremendous enthusiasm among the workers and the general public here. The Yatra will be welcomed in a grand manner at Kusmi upon its entry into Gorakhpur. Trucks will leave for Ayodhya from Gorakhpur on Feb 1:- After reaching the Gorakhnath temple, the stones will be welcomed and worshiped at the Hindu Sevashram of the revered saints. After this, all the people involved in the yatra will have food and rest in the temple.
