Robert Vadra in a new inquiry, link between arms dealer, Benami London house

Tuesday, Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s Son-in-law and Priyanka Gandhi’s Husband Robert Vadra, is being investigated after Income Tax raids on notorious arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari exposed alleged links amid the two and mysterious references to a London property, a media revealed.

Quoting a preface report equipped by the “Income Tax department and the Enforcement Directorate” following raids last month on 18 premises owned by Bhandari, media said that emails were found which were allegedly sent by Vadra and his executive assistant, Manoj Arora, to London-based Sumit Chadda, a relative of Bhandari.

Although, Reports revealed that Vadra was discussing payment and renovation for London  at 12 Ellerton House, Bryanston Square and the total worth of the house which  bought for 19 lakh GBP (Rs 19 crore) in October 2009 and sold in June 2010”.

In one email, Vadra is said to have replied to Chadda that “he would look into the issue”. And that his “secretary” Manoj Arora will be “in touch”. Thereafter, Arora kept in touch with Chadda using an email ID “Exim Real Estate”, media reports said.
