Rohit Sharma, Mithali Raj joins fight against Corona crisis

New Delhi: Team India opener Rohit Sharma has donated 80 lakh rupees to help in the fight against Coronavirus epidemic on Tuesday. Rohit donated Rs 45 lakh to the PM Cares Fund and Rs 25 lakh to the Maharashtra CM Relief Fund. Not only this, Hitman has given assistance of Rs 5-5 lakh each to Feeding India Organization and Welfare of Stray Dogs.

Team India vice captain gave this information on Twitter himself. He tweeted with his official Twitter handle that he wrote, 'We need to get our country back on foot and trust us. I donated my share. You also cooperate. At the same time, the Sports Authority of India employees also donated their three-day salary to the PM Cares Fund, which totaled 76 lakh rupees.

Apart from this, Indian women's ODI team captain Mithali Raj has given a donation of 5 lakh rupees in PM fund. He also gave the same amount to the CM Fund of Telangana. Mithali's fellow cricketer Poonam Yadav Yadav, who excelled in the Women's T20 World Cup 2020. He gave two lakh rupees. India's all rounder player Deepti Sharma also contributed Rs 1.5 lakh for the fight against the Corona crisis.
