Royal Enfield 650 Twins will come with alloy wheels soon

Two-wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield launched the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 in the Indian market almost two years back.  Currently, these popular bikes are offered with spoke wheels but now company is going to make a big change in it. According to the sources Royal Enfield is said to be working on introducing both its 650cc offerings, the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT650 with alloy wheels in the future. 

The Chennai-based two-wheeler brand is expected to introduce the alloy wheels on the motorcycle early next year. According to a report by Gaadiwaadi, the new wheels for the vehicles are currently said to be under development. According to the report, the durability and validation testing for the alloy wheels about to end. 

There is no direct rival of  650 Twins in the Indian market. Both the bikes comes with 649 cc, parallel-twin engine which delivers 47 PS of maximum power at 7,250 rpm and 52 Nm of peak torque at 5,250 rpm. The powertrain comes hooked to a 6-speed gearbox.
