NEW DELHI: As part of Rozgar Mela, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute about 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted employees on April 13 via video conferencing and also address them on the occasion, as per a statement issued by Prime Minister's office on Tuesday, April 11. The initiative is a part of the "Rozgar Mela" effort, which aims to provide jobs for 10 lakh people. According to the statement, it was a step towards the Prime Minister fulfilling his promise to give employment creation top priority. The statement went on to say that "The Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in additional employment generation and provide important chances to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development." The candidates selected from all over the nation will work in various posts for the Central Government, including those of train manager, station master, senior commercial-cum-ticket clerk, inspector, sub-inspector, constable, stenographer, junior accountant, postal assistant, income tax inspector, tax assistant, assistant professor, teacher, librarian, nurse, probationary officers, PA, and MTS, among others.
