New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat urged the Hindu community to unite by transcending differences in language, caste, and region for their own security. Speaking at an RSS volunteer gathering in Krishi Upaj Mandi, Baran Nagar, on Saturday, Bhagwat emphasized the importance of discipline, civic duty, and a goal-oriented mindset within society. "For its security, Hindu society will have to unite by eliminating differences and disputes of language, caste, and province. Society should be characterized by organization, goodwill, and intimacy. Discipline of conduct, duty towards the state, and the quality of being goal-oriented are necessary in society. Society is not made by me and my family alone; we must strive to achieve collective good by considering the welfare of all," he stated. Bhagwat declared that India is fundamentally a "Hindu nation," explaining that the term 'Hindu' encompasses all sects and communities residing within its borders. "India is a Hindu nation. We have been living here since ancient times, although the name Hindu came later. Hindu was used for all the sects of India living here. Hindus embrace everyone and accept diverse perspectives," he remarked. He further noted that the work of the RSS is based on thought rather than mechanical processes, asserting that no other organization in the world can compare to the efforts of the RSS. "Sangh's work is not mechanical but thought-based. There is no work in the world comparable to Sangh's work. From Sangh, values are instilled from the group leader to the volunteer and then to their families. This is the method of personality development within the Sangh," Bhagwat explained. The event was attended by prominent RSS leaders, including Rajasthan region Sanghchalak Ramesh Agarwal, Chittor province Sanghchalak Jagdish Singh Rana, Baran division Sanghchalak Ramesh Chand Mehta, and Baran district Sanghchalak Vaidya Radheshyam Garg.
