RSS meeting commences today in Ghatkesar near Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Today, a meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) commenced in Ghatkesar near Hyderabad which includes the discussion based on the operation of Indian Army against terrorists bases across the LoC.

According to the sources, “at the national executive meeting to be held from October 23-25, a proposal approving of the surgical strikes could be passed. Already, the BJP government was commended by the Sangh at the Centre for the operations.”

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat and general secretary Suresh Bhayyaji Joshi will preside over the meeting and will also hold a talk based on affairs of caste-based discrimination and the state of education in the country.

“The Sarsangachalak (Bhagwat) has clearly defined the need to end discrimination on the basis of caste. The RSS survey across villages is a testimony to the existence of casteism and the Sangh has asked its foot soldiers to intensify their outreach to end caste biases,” said a functionary.

“The meeting is a stock-taking exercise of what the affiliates such as the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram or the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad have accomplished and also set the targets for the months ahead,” the functionary added.
