At the Interbank Foreign Exchange,Rupee hikes by 7 paise to 66.82 against the US dollar in early trade today.
According to the Forex dealers said that,“besides selling of the American currency by exporters and banks, weakness in the dollar against some currencies overseas supported the rupee”
They further added that, “a higher opening in the domestic equity market influenced the rupee uptrend”
On Wednesday,the value of rupee has finished 3 paisa superior at 66.89 USD.
However, the benchmark BSE Sensex rose by 60.51 points or 0.21 % at 28,432.74 in early trade today.
