In early trade today; as after the weekend and holiday of Eid-ul-Fitr the market opened positive, the rupee firmed up 11 paise to 64.41 against the US dollar. On Monday, the whole forex market remained closed on account of Eid-ul-Fitr. However, the Sensex increased 156.75 pts, or 0.50 %, to 31,294.96 in early trade today.
