Russia started building this defense system to increase India's strength

India's friendly country Russia has started construction of the S-400 missile defense system to deliver to India. Russia's Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov himself has confirmed this. India had signed an agreement of about forty thousand crores for the purchase of the S-400 system from Russia in view of its long-term defense needs. The agreement was signed at the 19th India-Russia Annual Bilateral Conference held in New Delhi on October 5, 2018.

Regarding the matter, Manturov said, Russia's leading air defense missile system company Almagenti has started manufacturing the S-400 for India. It will be handed over to India within the stipulated time frame of the contract. A training center is being built in India to avoid any difficulty in operating the S-400.
