Another setback to Pakistan on Section 370, Russia also supported India

Moscow: Another big setback to Pakistan. Russia has supported the decision of the Government of India to revoke Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and create 2 Union Territories (UT). Not only that, Russia advised Pakistan not to disturb relations with India on the Kashmir issue. Russia says on Saturday that the change in the situation in Jammu and Kashmir has been divided under the Indian Constitution.

"Russia is a strong supporter of peace relations between India and Pakistan," the ministry said in a statement. We hope that the issues will be resolved through bilateral negotiations under the Shimla Agreement 1972 and the Lahore Declaration 1999."

Pakistan has also sent a letter to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on the issue, but it is also frustrated with the UNSC. The UNSC has so far not responded to Pakistan's letter. UN Security Council President Joanna Ronka has refused to respond to Pakistan's claim that India's historic decision violates the UNSC resolution.
