Kyiv: A statement from President Volodymyr Zelensky, a Motor Sich facility in Ukraine was struck by a Russian missile strike on Saturday. This facility is one of many businesses the government has taken control of since Moscow's invasion. "Another Russian missile attack against our nation occurred today. Calibres, Kinzhals. In his evening address, Zelensky stated that they "hit Motor Sich" close to Khmelnytskyi in western Ukraine, about 300 kilometres (190 miles) southwest of Kyiv. One of the "strategic" companies taken over by Ukraine's defence ministry last November was Motor Sich, which manufactures engines for aircraft and helicopters as well as other components. There is a significant Ukrainian air base in the area. Earlier on Saturday, the city's governor claimed that a fire at a location outside the city was the result of a Russian strike. It was unclear if the Motor Sich corporate offices had been hit by the Russian airstrikes.
