Cops in Tiruvannamalai have booked three men who allegedly tried to gang-rape a 21-year-old young Russian woman when she was visiting the town, located in northern Tamil Nadu. The men who were arrested include the owner of the private guest house where this woman was staying. As per the reports she landed in Tiruvannamalai, which is a home to a renowned Shiva temple, last Thursday. She didn't go outside of her room in the guest house after Sunday. The police, who were got informed by neighbours, found her inside the next day. She was recovered as unconscious. She was taken to the nearest government hospital and she regained consciousness. Samples of her blood were sent to Chennai for further inquiry, and a Russian translator was also hired to record her statement. "Victim is admitted to hospital and is still unconscious. We're unable to interact. Moreover, the victim can speak only Russian, for which we are making the arrangement.
