BJP MP Sadhvi Pragyan Singh Thakur, who arrived in Bhopal by a Spice Jet from Delhi, did not get the seat of choice, so she sat on a dharna inside the aircraft. At the request of the airport director, she got off the plane after about 20 minutes. She later filed a complaint against Spice Jet management for lack of services. According to media reports, Sadhvi Pragya was coming to Bhopal on Saturday evening from Delhi's Spice Jet flight number SG2489. He was given seat number 2-A inside the aircraft. The MPs wanted them to be given seat number A-1 in terms of protocol, but this seat had already been given to another passenger. The plane landed at Raja Bhoj Airport at 7 pm in Bhopal. All the passengers of Bhopal got down, but Sadhvi did not get off. She sat on a dharna inside the aircraft. Spice Jet staff also requested her to come down, but she refused. Later, airport director Anil Vikram arrived inside the plane and requested the MP to end the picket. After this, she got off the plane. Due to her flight not landing on time, the aircraft left Bhopal for 20 minutes back to Delhi.
