SAHA has Big Boosts to Fill!

Bangalore-: India’s specialist Test wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha said Friday that it is difficult to fill in the void created due to Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s retirement from the longer version as he has been such a proven match-winner for a good period of time.

International cricketer Wriddhiman Saha has long the understudying of party –retired MS Dhoni .

Considering that he, a safe pair of gloves on the domestic circuit for Bengal, only got to play three Tests until Dhoni's retirement from Test cricket in December 2014, Saha is one of those talents who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"I feel good batting with the lower order because in that situation the team makes crucial 30-40-50 odd runs," Saha said after the national team's training session at the National Cricket Academy on Friday.

"These runs are very helpful for the team. Even if every bowler contributes 15-20, the team can make a big score, so in that, I can also make a contribution.

I scored a couple of fifties in the first series (in Sri Lanka) and in the last series I scored in the 30s and 40s.

I will try and contribute to the team to my full potential, score in the region of 70s or be involved in big partnerships. It'll be good for me as well as the team."

"To fill up Dhoni's boots isn't an easy task. He played for India for many years, and was a match-winner for India.

I will try and reach my potential and help the team, with the bat in vital situations and by taking catches behind the stumps," Saha conceded in the press conference on Frid
