Amid the by-election, the opposition Samajwadi Party (SP) has started preparations for the 2022 assembly by-election. SP has asked potential candidates to apply for the 2022 assembly elections. He has said that interested candidates can send their applications from October 19. He has said that potential candidates will be able to apply by January 26 next year. Chaudhary had also clarified that applications for the assembly seats on which the MLA of SP is and where the assembly by-elections are being held at this time will not be accepted.
