In the same vein, the Samajwadi Party (SP) is going to take out a rath yatra in UP from today. SP national president Akhilesh Yadav will take the chariot from Lucknow to Unnao. A program honoring rath yatra will be held at about 150 places.

The unveiling of the statue at Manohar Lal Inter College in Village Sarosa was scheduled and a rally was planned at Inter College but the district administration did not allow it, after which the SP changed the program at the last moment. Earlier on Tuesday, former Uttar Pradesh CM and SP president Akhilesh Yadav rushed to the hospital to see Lok Sabha MP and party veteran Azam Khan.
