Samsung Gear 360 camera’s price officially revealed

NEW DELHI: Samsung launched its Gear 360 camera back in February this year, during the MWC 2016 conference. And now the camera has finally started hitting the US shelves, although in limited quantities.

The 360-degree shooting camera will be showcased at the VidCon conference in Anaheim, California, and few of its units will also go on sale there.

Gear 360 will be sold for $349.99, and a wider rollout will take place later this year. Samsung Gear 360 sports two fish-eye lenses with each having 15MP sensor.

The camera can capture images with a resolution of a 30MP and also record 360-degree videos in 4K resolution.

Users can also use just one side of the camera to record 180-degree videos and images. Samsung has also launched a dedicated mobile app that is available from Galaxy Apps store and Google Play Store.
