Samsung to Unveil Triple-Fold Smartphone, Competing with Huawei

The tech giant, renowned for its top-tier foldable smartphones, seems poised to shake up the market with its rumored triple-fold offering. If the speculations hold true, Samsung could be introducing a fresh contender in the foldable realm. A recent leak has provided some insights into this potential development.

Notable tipster Revengus hinted at Samsung's plans in a recent post, suggesting a triple-fold smartphone could hit the shelves in 2024 alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. Revengus stated, "Rumors are circulating that Samsung will add a triple fold to its lineup this year. With Huawei almost certain to release a triple fold in the second quarter of this year, from Samsung’s perspective, it cannot afford to miss out on the title of ‘world’s first’."

Earlier reports hinted at Samsung's intention to introduce a new foldable device, aligning with Revengus's tip. The new tri-fold smartphone could potentially offer a larger display and may feature sensors on the hinge.

Further, Revengus suggested that Huawei could also enter the fray with its own triple-fold smartphone by year-end.

Meanwhile, Samsung has recently debuted its rugged Galaxy XCover 7 smartphone in India. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, this device is designed to withstand extreme conditions. The Galaxy XCover 7 marks Samsung's first enterprise-focused smartphone in India, having been launched globally last month alongside the Galaxy Tab Active 5.
