Sanjay Raut lashes out at Owaisi over Aurangabad's name change

Mumbai: Senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut took a dig at AIMIM saying the Indian Constitution is secular and hence how can Babar, Aurangzeb, Shaista Khan, Owaisi etc be called secular? As Aurangabad MP is from AIMIM party, MP Sanjay Raut has been on the side in his column in the Shiv Sena mouthpiece.

MP Sanjay Raut has written in his article that the Constitution of India is secular, so how should Babar, Aurangzeb, Shisanta Khan, etc., be treated as secular? Aurangzeb hated other religions. He tortured the Sikhs, Hindus, and why should we be on his sign?  Sanjay Raut further wrote who Aurangzeb was? At least, Maharashtra need not to explain.

Sanjay Raut wrote that the sword of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's self-esteem was brightened in Aurangzeb's court. Released from Agra, this heroic story was created only after that. Maharashtra fought a long battle with Aurangzeb. That war was first led by Chhatrapati Shivaji and later by Chhatrapati Sambhaji. Therefore, there is no reason for the true Marathi and staunch Hindu man to be infatuated with Aurangzeb.
