New Delhi: A case of 'hack' of Parliament TV's YouTube channel, which telecasts the proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha live, has come to light on Tuesday. Because of this, the channel has been closed for some time. Parliament television reported in a press release that the YouTube channel of Parliament TV, which had live telecast the proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, was taken over by some "scamsters" on Tuesday. According to the official statement, the name of the channel was changed to "Ethereum" by the attacker. A statement said that on February 15, 2022 (Tuesday 01:00 am) the YouTube channel of Parliament TV was tampered with due to unauthorised activities by some scamsters, including live streaming on this channel. Also, the channel's name has been changed to "Ethereum" by the attackers. However, the social media team of Parliament TV immediately worked on it and restored the Parliament TV channel at around 3.30 am.
