Sasikala files review petition against her conviction in Supreme court

V.K. Sasikala, the Former All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) general secretary in her conviction has filed a review petition against it in the Supreme Court.

She has been convicted as she is accused in 21-year-old disproportionate assets case after which she is disqualified from taking over as Tamil Nadu chief minister after late J. Jayalalithaa's demise.

In the disproportionate assets case, late J. Jayalalithaa, Sasikala and her two relatives - V.N. Sudhakaran and Elavarasi are also accused.
