'Batla House' gets an amazing response at Mumbai's Speculative Market, But 'Mission Mangal' rules Box Office!

For the second consecutive time at the box office, Akshay Kumar and John Abraham clashed on August 15, and Mumbai's speculative market is hot. As the advance bookings for both the films open, it is estimated that this time the competition will be thorny and the audience is more inclined towards John's action film.

Mumbai's speculative market is also tilted in John's favour for the moment. On the first day, however, Akshay's Mission Mangal has earned Rs 29 crore on the first day and John's movie Rs 14 crore on the first day. The two films are estimated to have cost around Rs 100 crore in Mumbai so far.

John Abraham's Satyamev Jayate and Akshay Kumar's Gold, which was released on August 15 last year, also competed in the fork. In terms of their costs, Satyamev Jayate proved to be a high-profit deal by earning around Rs 108 crore. The film was made at a cost of just Rs 45 crore. Gold, made at a cost of about Rs 70 crore, earned Rs 151 crore. Akshay Kumar's films released on August 15 was 'Brothers' which was a Flop, 'Rustom' earned average and 'toilet Ek Prem Katha' was a big hit.
