SBI officials said on Friday that in order to regulate the seamless cash flow post demonetisation, RBI should print extra new notes worth Rs. 1.15 Lakh Crores. Before demonetization in November 2016, there was a cash of Rs. 17.97 Lakh Crores regulating in India. But now there is cash of 13.12 Lakh Crores only in the market and according to SBI, it is not enough to make a decent cash flow. SBI's Head Economy Consultant Kanti Ghosh said that according to their research, a total amount of 14.27 Lakh Crores is needed to be introduced in Indian Market and therefore notes worth additional amount of 1.15 crores should be printed by RBI.
