The Supreme Court today has declined an urgent hearing of a PIL seeking to restrain AIADMK general secretary Sasikala from becoming the Tamil Nadu chief minister. The hearing is declined till the verdict is pronounced in a corruption case. The court next week will give its verdict on the disproportionate assets case. On Tuesday, the acting chief minister of Tamil Nadu O Panneerselvam said that he was forced to resign from the CM post by Sasikala and its group.
