Mumbai: Due to Corona epidemic, every region of the country has been affected, meanwhile Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the demand for reopening of schools in the state will be considered after next 10-15 days. A decision will be taken keeping in mind the loss of students' studies and the incidence of corona virus in children. The Health Minister also told that CM Uddhav Thackeray will take the final decision on the matter. Schools in Maharashtra have been closed till February 15 due to rising corona cases in the state. Talking to the media, the Health Minister said, "There has been a growing demand for the reopening of schools for the past few days as there is a loss in the education of children." He said, "We will consider it after 10-15 days as the rate of infection among children is low. The CM will take the final decision in this regard." Expressing concern over the increasing cases of corona, the Health Minister said that people seem to be unaware of corona. He said, "Covid rules should be strictly followed. Along with common people, politicians are also required to avoid overcrowding." According to the State Health Department of Maharashtra, 42,462 new corono infection cases have been registered in the state on Saturday, which was 749 less than Friday. As of Saturday, the total number of corona cases stood at 71,70,483 and the death toll stood at 1,41,779.
