Schools Reopen in Karnataka: CM Bommai interacts with students

Schools resumed its curriculum activities in Karnataka for classes 9-12 today i.e. from Monday, 23rd August.  Children showed up enthusiastically at schools. 9-12th classes of pre-university colleges have started. Instructions were also given to take utmost care before reopening schools in the state from August 23 to make certain their teaching in the classrooms while protecting the students from the global pandemic of Covid 

On this occasion, Chief Minsiter Bommai personally went to Government Pre University College and interacted with the students. He told the students about the safety precautions to take against the COVID-19 during school hours. The CM also encouraged students to maintain social distancing and hygiene in the school. "All safety measures have been taken as suggested by the experts. I appeal to parents to encourage their children to attend physical classes & follow covid appropriate behaviour," CM Bommai tweeted on Sunday.

Chief Minister also urged his cabinet ministers to visit the campuses in their districts to encourage the students and teachers and review the precautionary measures taken for the safe conduct of physical classes.
