Income tax department raided CM Gehlot's close aides

A large amount of black money has been recovered from the residence of the CM of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot. According to sources, the Income Tax Department has also acquired a large number of gems from his residence. Apart from this, many of his lockers have also been overlooked by the Income Tax Department. The Income Tax Department is working to calculate the amount seized, gems and money available in the locker.

Apart from this, the Income Tax Department has sent notices to Ratan Kant Sharma, Sunil Kothari, Rajeev Arora and Dharmendra Rathore, and asked them to join the inquiry. It is believed that all these are allegedly close to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Income Tax Department had raided Rajasthan, Delhi and Mumbai on their whereabouts. The proceedings of the Income Tax Department took place during the ongoing political commotion in Rajasthan. The Income Tax Department raided 43 places of these people at different places in Delhi-Mumbai and Rajasthan on 13 July.

The Income Tax Department has sent a notice to the 4 alleged near people of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for questioning. All these have been summoned under section 131 of the Income Tax. According to Section 131 of the Income Tax, there is a provision that the Income Tax Officers can be questioned. According to this section, officers get the right to call individuals for talks. The income tax officer has asked the taxpayer to appear in the office with his account books and documents.
