Seema Mane talks her mind on wax and wanes of being a celebrity hairstylist

No matter how much we rejoice in working on our dream job, we cannot cut and run from its vexatious circs. – Seema Mane

Every dark cloud has a silver lining! As much as we admire and validate this quote, we cannot deny that each fortunate event is followed by something unpleasant. This story is about all fields and now, Seema Mane attempts to illustrate the perks of being a celebrity hairstylist and the dilemmas that it offers.

Seema Mane took years to find her place in the industry and be someone of repute in her arena. She says, "Working with multiple talented artists, diverse co-workers, and other admired people has changed my life in many ways. While working as a celeb hairstylist, you can drag out the best creative person in you."

This journey in the film industry is most profitable when you start making new contacts. According to Seema Mane, the more your work is discerned, the more you thrive in your career. Besides decent pay, good contact, and tremendous experience, there are still a few drawbacks to being a hairstylist in the filmy world.

Seema Mane further said, "Every movie demands a new hairstyle that should also outline the stated character of the film. It’s exciting to work on new projects, but sometimes it's also backbreaking to deliver a chic hairstyle that lives up to the director’s, actor's, and story's demand." She believes that working in the film industry is timeless. The shooting sometimes continues for hours and days, resulting in a tiresome life. Regardless of all that, the growth is still apparent.

Locating her soul in this hairstyle world and making it her passion was harder for her. This makes her story different and highlights her "not-surrendering attitude." Maybe this is when Seema Mane learned the primacy of forging ahead. She knew that withstanding the difficult situation and making dismaying choices would lead you to the ultimate good.

To date, Seema Mane has worked with actress Tabu on the series ‘A Suitable Boy.’ She has also worked with Kiara Advani on movies like M.S. Dhoni, Kabir Singh, Kalank, etc. With Taapsee Pannu, she has worked on films like Naam Shabana, Judwaa 2, The Ghazi Attack, Manmarziya, etc. Seema Mane's stylish hairstyles can be seen in Taapsee Pannu's upcoming films Shabaash Mithu, Looop Lapeta, Blur, Woh Ladki Hai Kahan, Mishan Impossible, and other films.
