In the early opening trade today the Sensex has advanced by almost 64 points. The 30-share index rose 63.57 points or 0.22 per cent to 29,400.14. The NSE Nifty was up 23 points, or 0.25 percent, to 9,126.50. The Brokers as per the sources news said that a firm trend at other Asian markets after crude oil prices rebounded from an overnight sell-off amid Japan reporting stronger-than-expected exports in March and easing tensions over North Korea helped lift sentiments. In the trade today the Japan's Nikkei was up 0.31per cent while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index rose 0.33 per cent.
