Mumbai: The trading started on the Indian stock market on Thursday with an increase. During the early trade, the Sensex rose over 150 points and the Nifty Fifty was above 11,950. The Sensex was trading at 40,567.33, up 154.76 points, or 0.38%, from the previous session at 10.58 am, while the Nifty Fifty saw a gain of 45.25 points. However, during the early trade, the Sensex had a low level of 40,496.82. Petrol prices fall after two days, diesel prices stable The National Stock Exchange (NSE) based 50-share sensitive index Nifty FIFTY also opened at 11,944.30 with a gain of 34.15 points from the previous session and went up to 11,955.80, though during this time the Nifty FIFTY recorded a low of 11,934. Among the top gainers, Bank shares rose 2.5%, Tata Motors 1.4%, Hero MotoCorp, and IndusInd Bank gained 1-1%.
