The BSE & NSE Index opened higher on Friday as exit polls indicating a strong BJP win in the Assembly elections. The National Party is projected to win in UP, Uttarakhand, Goa & Manipur Assembly elections. The Sensex shot up 76.87 points higher at 29,006, against yesterday's close of 28,929.13. Similarly, the Nifty50 Index gained 26.70 points to 8,953.70. The Sensex 30 stocks gainers are Adani Ports (+1.35%), Hero MotoCorp (+0.98%), Wipro (+0.94%), TCS (+0.74%) and ICICI Bank (+0.71%) . PowerGrid (-0.85%), ONGC (-0.42%), GAIL (-0.61%) and Reliance (-0.24%) were the losers on Sensex. The sectoral indices such as barring oil & energy, all indices were Trading higher than yesterday. Indices gainers were Telecom, IT, Tech, consumer durables and capital goods.
