Bengaluru: The Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genomics Consortium (INSACOG) has identified a sewage sampling method to detect coronavirus in a particular area. This was reported by the Chief Commissioner of Bengaluru Municipal Corporation last Saturday, November 6. He also said that the team is going to do more tests to detect positive cases in areas with high viral load. He continued, saying that work is on with some companies. The commissioner also said that the reduction in coronavirus cases in Karnataka continues. "We are constantly monitoring, including new cases of coronavirus, regular screening of cases active in new mutations, hospitalization, etc," he said.
