Team India fast bowler Mohammed Shami has shared an emotional post on social media after being ruled out of the ODI series against Bangladesh. Mohammed Shami will not be able to play in the ODI series against Bangladesh starting on Sunday due to a hand injury. Umran Malik has been included in the team in place of Shami. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given information in this regard on Saturday. Mohammed Shami was injured during a practice session after returning from Australia. He is also doubtful to play in the two-Test series starting in Chittagong from December 14. Mohammed Shami tweeted along with pictures of treatment and wrote, 'Injury, in general, teaches you to appreciate every moment. I’ve had my share of injuries throughout my career. It’s humbling. It gives you perspective. No matter how many times I’ve been hurt, I’ve learned from that injury and come back even stronger.' BCCI secretary Jay Shah said in a press release, "Fast bowler Mohammed Shami was injured during the practice session before the ODI series against Bangladesh. He has suffered a shoulder injury and is currently under the supervision of the BCCI medical team at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. He will not be able to play in the 3-match ODI series. The All India Selection Committee has named Umran Malik as Shami's replacement.''
