Shane Warne claims, 'Australia will wash off Team India in second Test'

Melbourne: Australia's legendary spinner Shane Warne has warned the Indian cricket team ahead of the second Test. He feels that team India could have suffered a humiliating defeat in the second Test after the defeat in the first match of the 4-match Test series. Warne said that after winning the first Test, Australia will now blow up the Indian team in the Boxing Day Test beginning December 26.

Australia had won the first Test at Adelaide by 8 wickets, with only 36 runs to win. This was its smallest score in Team India's Test history. Team India Captain Virat Kohli will not play in the second match of the series starting Saturday, who has returned to India due to the birth of his first child. "I think the Australian team will wash off Team India," Warne said while speaking with Fox Cricket.

Warne said, "India has excellent players like KL Rahul. Young Shubman Gill will also be in the squad. Ajinkya Rahane is also a brilliant player, we know what Cheteshwar Pujara can do. Mohammed Shami's absence is also a big loss for Team India. He's the best player. The pitch in Melbourne was also consistent with his bowling."
