Sharad Pawar's daughter Supriya got a big responsibility in NCP

Mumbai: There has been a big change in the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) today i.e. on Saturday (June 10). NCP chief Sharad Pawar's daughter Supriya Sule and Praful Patel have been appointed as the new working presidents. This decision of the party is being considered as a big setback for senior leader and Sharad Pawar's nephew Ajit Pawar. Political pundits said that Ajit himself was a contender for the post of party president. He is currently the Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly.

It is noteworthy that recently, Sharad Pawar had announced to leave the responsibility of party chief. However, after the anger of the workers and a lot of respect from the leaders, he took a U-turn from his decision. The panel set up to deliberate on Pawar's offer had on May 5 refused to accept his resignation and appealed to him to continue as party president. Now the party high command has created turmoil in Maharashtra politics by appointing two new working presidents.

Today is the 24th foundation day of NCP. NCP chief Sharad Pawar has said that we all have to work to make NCP strong. A decision is also being taken to make Praful Patel and Supriya Sule the chairman of the working committee. Supriya Sule has been given the command of Haryana and Punjab. This announcement has been made in the presence of NCP veteran Ajit Pawar, but during this time he got nothing but shock.
