Modi government announces relief package to fight Corona, Tharoor says 'This is not enough'

New Delhi: The Modi government has announced a relief package of Rs 15,000 crore for the war with Corona. The Congress has raised questions on the low amount of the relief package. Senior Congress leader and MP Shashi Tharoor said that each district will get only 20 crore rupees from this relief package, which is insufficient. Earlier, many Congress leaders have demanded a big relief package from the central government.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor tweeted that, 'As an MP, I urge the PM to allocate Rs 20 thousand crores for the new Parliament House and Central Vista in the relief package of 15 thousand crores of corona virus Be included. The present relief is only 20 crores per district. In this time of crisis, spending on buildings should be stopped.

Earlier, the Congress had accused the Modi government of late in dealing with the coronavirus. Congress had said that now an economic problem has arisen in front of the country, in such a situation, we hope that this mistake will not be made a second time. Many countries of the world have announced a package to deal with this epidemic and help the common people, but our government has done only 15 thousand crores, which is insufficient.
