On Thursday, BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha suggested the name of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan as the President of India.
Mr Sinha said "Amitabh Bachchan has achieved many a milestone "It will be a matter of pride if Amitabh Bachchan, a cultural icon, is made president of the country,"
He added, "Amitabh Bachchan has achieved many a milestone in cultural and social fields and if he becomes president, it will fetch a good name for the country,"
Mr Bachchan has favoured Mr Sinha's name for the president's post, question asked from Patna Sahib (BJP Lok Sabha).He replied "it's his greatness. But, I will be happy if he graces the chair of President after Pranab Mukherjee."
The both actors featured together in hits like Kaala Pathar, Dostana and Shaan.
