There is a new turn in the Sheena Bora Murder case. Her mother Indrani Mukherjee has been accused of plotting to murder her husband, Peter Mukherjee, and driver and wiping out evidence after the murder.
Indrani Mukherjee, who was lodged in the Byculla jail, wrote a letter to the CBI special court saying that Peter Mookerjee and driver Shyamvar Rai may have a hand in removing Sheena and then removing her names.
Indrani wrote in the letter that Peter has implicated him in the conspiracy. Indrani has demanded from the special court that the inquiry report of Peter Mukherjee's 2012 and year 2015 calls should be examined so that the truth can come out.
Let us tell you that Sheena Bora's mother, Indrani Mukherjee, is the main accused in the massacre of Sheena who is lodged in Bhiikhla jail. Peter Mukherjee and driver Shyamvar Rai are also accused in the case. Shyamvar Rai has become an official witness.
The special judge, J C Jagdale, told Rai to ‘speak without fear’, and the prosecution began to examine Rai. While Rai was speaking, Indrani and Peter listened carefully to every word he spoke. Rai stuck to his confession statement, and told the court about every detail, from the time he started working for Indrani and Peter as a driver and rising to a person of confidence for Indrani.
Rai also narrated the details about how Indrani tricked Sheena to accompany her, and strangulated her in the car and later attempted to eliminate Mikhail by spiking his drink at her residence in Marlow building at Worli.
