Sanjay Raut gave this statement regarding Akali Dal and NDA

Mumbai: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), the most trusted ally of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), has announced its separation from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Saturday evening. This decision of Akali Dal has created a stir in political circles. At the same time, senior Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said that the alliance which does not include Shiv Sena and Akali Dal cannot be called NDA.

Sanjay Raut further stated that Shiv Sena and Akali Dal were strong pillars of NDA. The Shiv Sena was forced to come out of the NDA, now the Akali Dal has also left the NDA. Sanjay Raut further said that 'NDA has got new partners now, I wish them all the best. The alliance that does not have Shiv Sena and Akali Dal, I do not consider it as NDA.'

At the same time, senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has said that 'I met Devendra Fadnavis yesterday to discuss some issues. He is the former Chief Minister. CM Uddhav Thackeray is aware of our meeting.'
