Shooting of Lagaam will resume from June 28

The makers of Upendra and Hariprriya's Lagaam are set to resume shooting from June 28 in Bengaluru, following all the COVID protocols on the sets. The project, which will also be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, is directed by K Madesh.

The makers initially planned to shoot in April, but pushed it due to the pandemic. The movie, which showcases how corruption can be tackled in society, also has Sadhu Kokila, Ranayan Raghu and Shobraj in significant roles. The video of a photoshoot of actors Upendra and Hariprriya got widely circulated on social media. The project also sees Upendra and Hariprriya sharing screen space for the first time. After completing the Bengaluru portion of shooting, the makers will also shoot in heritage city Mysuru.

Sadhu Kokila is composing music after a long gap, while M S Ramesh has penned dialogues, Rajesh Kata is the cinematographer and M R Gowda is the producer. Meanwhile, Upendra will also complete shooting for Kabzaa, which is one of the most anticipated movies of this year. He also has Buddhivantha 2 in the pipeline.
