New Delhi: Srinivas BV, the interim president of the youth wing of the Congress, has been made the full-time chairman of the organization on Wednesday. According to a statement issued by the party's organization general secretary KC Venugopal, Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi has approved the appointment of Srinivas as the president of the Youth Congress with immediate effect. Last year, Srinivas was appointed as the interim president of the organization after Keshav Chand Yadav resigned from the post of the President of the Youth Congress last year. After being appointed as the full-time President, Srinivas responded by saying, "I thank Soniaji and Rahulji for reposing confidence in me. I will leave no stone unturned to raise the voice of the youth, strengthen the organization and advance the ideology of the Congress through the Youth Congress."
