Kolkata: Amidst speculation about his next political move after resigning from Trinamool Congress (TMC), Shubhendu Adhikari resigned said that the final decision would be taken by the public. Addressing his first rally after relinquishing the post of West Bengal government minister, Shubhendu Adhikari did not make any political statement and recalled the contribution of his home district East Medinipur in the freedom struggle. Shubhendu said, 'We will organize nationalist programs and remember the sacrifices of Tamluk's movement against British rule. We will remember the framers of our Constitution who believed in the principle of the people, of the people, for the people. ' Shubendu, president of the Tamralipta Janakalyan Samiti, said that under the banner of the organization, many events will be organized in December and will remember the 1942 freedom struggle in Tamluk. He said that like every year, the organization would celebrate his birth anniversary on December 3 at the birthplace of freedom fighter Khudiram Bose and the Tamralukta National Government, formed in 1942, would be held in Tamluk on December 17. Shubhendu said that preparations for the rally in memory of freedom fighter Ranjit Boyle had been going on for a long time and he had nothing to do with his resignation.
